Oklahoma is OK.

Well, what can you say about Oklahoma? It's Oklahoma...sorry to all those that love it or are from here. Our day started out in Missouri, but only for a few miles on Route 66. Then we crossed over into Kansas for a few wonderful miles. That section of the old Route 66 is just great. We went through some great "ghost" towns, all but gone now and I drove on the Rainbow Bridge. We did about 60 miles or so on the old Route 66, and it took us several hours. It was getting late and it was very hot so we jumped on Interstate 44 and literally hot footed it to Oklahoma City. We were once again blessed with great weather since it's been storming here for a few weeks and we rolled into town under sunny skies.

I apologize for my dialogue being brief tonight. All day my mind has been on some personal stuff I have to deal with back home over the next few day's and I feel pretty uninspired tonight. Tomorrow I'll head out early from Oklahoma City and make my way south to Dallas. I'll be taking the next day or two off from the trip and will catch up with my traveling partners somewhere farther west depending on how long I have to be in Dallas. I've completed 37 of our 50 states. I'm looking forward to spending some quality time in the last 13. Enjoy the few pictures and I'll catch up with you once I get back on the road. Those of you that are aware of my situation, please pray for me over the next few day's. Blessings to you.
